West Michigan Symphony Presents a brown bag lunch and conversation about Masterworks.3: Germanic Classics. Bring your own lunch and enjoy an hour of lively discussion with Music Director Scott Speck and Paul Clifton, WMS principal horn.
Those who have tickets to attend the associated West Michigan Symphony masterworks concert on Friday, January 12. will get a primer to the works that will be presented and for those who don’t, tickets will be available to purchase.
Samples of the repertoire will be played and discussed, including:
• Fanny Mendelssohn: Overture in C major
• Strauss: Horn Concerto no.1
• Mendelssohn: Symphony no.1 in C minor
This is a free event. Doors open at 11:45 am to give you time to mingle and take your seats.
Coffee and water provided. Food available for purchase at area restaurants such as Subway (next door) and Rebel Pies (downstairs in the back of Unruly Brewing).
